On safari we shall take you to explore Uganda’s wildlife and also some of the authentic sites like Murchison Falls. During these two weeks, you gets to see different species of birds both forest, savannah ,wetlands and water birds ,also see big five ,track gorillas in bwindi impenetrable national park and chimpanzee expeditions in their natural environment of kibale forest for encounter of life time , with wild but habituated chimps. DETAILED ITINERARY
ARRIVAL DAY
On your arrival at Entebbe international airport or any of Uganda’s border posts in Busia, Malamba, Mutukula, Elegu, and Katuna. You will be picked by our safari guides from African skimmer tours who will be waiting and drop you at agreed place of accommodation on your first day
Day1: pick up from place of accommodation and transfer to Bwindi national park
Early in the morning weak up with served breakfast and departure to Bwindi impenetrable national park and pass via the Ankole Masaka dry collider of lake Mburo national park and have stop over at Agipu hotel for lunch in mbarara and then proceed with the journey to Bwindi while taking Ntugamo, Rukungiri route and then check in to the booked lodge and relax until dinner and overnight stay.
Day2: gorilla tracking experience in bwindi
These is one of the highlight of your safari, meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi impenetrable national park , expects to walk long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain over head, before you encounter gorillas. But you will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest .unique and unforgettable experience and bird watching and sights and sounds in the forest. Dinner and overnight at lodge booked
Day 3: Bwindi to queen Elizabeth National Park
After calm break meet and greet your guide representative who will transfer you to queen national park by road. The southern sector of this protected game reserve is called Ishasha sector and for a 2 hour driver .check in and enjoy lunch at the lodge before going on the game drive in search of the famous tree climbing lions
You will have dinner and overnight at selected accommodation
Day 4: morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
In the morning another game driver is taken to find lions and their prey. We depart to the southern part and lead towards visitation centre with agama driver en route. Have lunch at selected hotel lodge while overlooking Kazinga channel Lake Edward and the Mweya peninsula, the natural channel that connects Lake Edward and George.
In the afternoon take on boat cruise along Kazinga channel. Inclusive of snacks and drinks on the boat, will be able to see abundant of birdlife that are sighted, elephants, buffaloes and hundreds of hippos that cooling off at6 the shores. The cruise will be one of the highlights of your safari. Dinner and overnight at king fisher
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth to kibale forest national park
After the calm breakfast we will depart the national park heading towards fort portal.
Fort portal rest in the shadow of the tabled mountain of the moon and famous for having many tea plantations, from this lovely town we will continue to kibale national park while passing to the regions of crater lakes. Here we will explore some small lakes before .heading to our accommodation for night dinner at selected place of accommodation
Day 6: kibale forest and Bigodi swamp
The forest open its doors for sensational chimp tracking ,forest is reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in east Africa .enjoy the guided nature in the tropical rain forest in search of wild chimps ,red-tailed monkeys, black and white Columbus monkeys and many others. After lunch transfer to Bigodi swamp for birding and primate watch the home of great blue turraco and which is initiated through the community and famous for the many species of birds and primates with welcoming local guides of KAFRED dinner and overnight at selected place of accommodation
Day 7: kibale forest to Murchison falls national park
After breakfast check out of the lodge and the depart to Murchison falls national park passing via Hoima, Masindi and reach at the booked hotel that is Fort Murchison or heritage safari lodge check in have lunch and take the rest of the because of the long journey while enjoying the sunset have dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 8: game drive and boat ride (explore Murchison fall national park)
After breakfast with the game drive on the bank of the Nile with chances of seeing giraffes, elephants, lions, hartebeest different and different species of birds like shoe bile stork and cattle egrets . In the afternoon the safari will continue with the boat cruise on the Nile for the game viewing at the close quarter. At the booked safari lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 9: from Murchison to Ziwa rhino sanctuary and evening tracking of rhinos
Wake up with relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge on transfer to Ziwa rhino sanctuary for tracking of rhinos and en-route game viewing in Murchison falls national park. You will reach in the afternoon and check in to the selected accommodation for lunch and relax until 3:00pm.
You will be taken for rhino tracking around Ziwa and return to the lodge for diner and overnight
Day 10: from Ziwa rhino sanctuary to Kampala
On this day , you will have relaxed breakfast and check out of the lode and transfer to kampala reaching by lunch time and check in to the selected place of accommodation for the rest of the day
Departure day
On your last day with us, according to your flight/departure time, you will have relaxed breakfast at the lodge and check out.
You will be picked up and transported to Entebbe airport or any of the border posts dropped for departure
